Jal Joshua was born in Cebu City, the Philippines, on July 15th, 1996. Jal Joshua's parents, Jesus and Joy Lebumfacil moved the family to Australia in March of 2008 in order to give the boys (Jal Joshua, Jal Jason and Jal John) the opportunity to make a better life for themselves. Jal Joshua entered into a talent quest at the Redland Sporting Club in June of 2008 and caught the eye of Alan Beard, well known local music producer and artist manager. Alan managed the career of 24 year old soprano, Mirusia, for several years before she was spotted by world renowned Dutch violinist, Andre Rieu, in 2006, and whisked away to Europe where she has been a featured performer in his massive world wide touring show ever since. Alan Beard produced her debut CD entitled, 'She Walks In Beauty', and has also produced Jal Joshua's debut CD.
Jal Joshua sang his way into the hearts of Australians everywhere with his amazing vocal performances on 'Australia's Got Talent'. He came within a whisker of winning the $250,000 first prize, but was thrilled to be named as runner up to 15 year old opera singer, Mark Vincent from Sydney. The extra-ordinary thing about the last series of 'Australia's Got Talent' is that it discovered two young boys who must surely be in the top few in the world for their age at what they do. They have remained firm friends with each recording a duet with the other on their debut albums.
